Competency vs. Participation: The Competency version includes a final assessment and provides participants with a certificate that reflects learning hours. The Participation version has no final assessment, but does provide participants with a certificate of participation. The course content for both versions is the same. The difference is based on what the participant needs upon completion of the course.
