This three-hour training will tackle two issues that are essential for creating high-quality classrooms where both children and adults thrive. Adults are first introduced to resilience, learning how their own well-being can be strengthened through a process of self-reflection and an intentional decision to make small changes in their daily routine. Participants are then introduced to FLIP IT, a simple four-step process that reduces children’s use of challenging behaviors.

Overcoming a Crisis of Confidence: Nurturing Consultants, Coaches, and Leaders in the Field of Early Childhood

This two-session training is for infant and/or early childhood mental health consultants, educational coaches, and leaders who are committed to building the capacity of professionals working with young children and families. Participants will explore the fears, negative self-talk, and imposter syndrome that creates a crisis of confidence.
